Will the SEC Scuffle Cost Musk His Job?

It's unlikely the SEC would seek an outright ban, but Tesla CEO Elon Musk's Feb. 19 tweet about Tesla's production estimates may temporarily cost him his job as CEO. This whole ordeal also opens up Tesla to lawsuits. If the company is not enforcing its policies, and the CEO is clearly violating policies that were required by a court order just a few months ago, that is a pretty easy opportunity for plaintiffs' lawyers to step in.

What to Expect From the February Jobs Report

It will be hard to match January’s big gain, but another strong increase in payrolls is expected, with continued wage growth. Changes in income are how most people feel the economic tides, and several analysts are expecting February to show more sizable growth.

ADP Appoints New CFO

Lyft, Slack, and Levi Strauss could all debut on the stock market later this month and a parade of so-called unicorns, privately held companies valued at more than $1 billion, are expected to go public this year. They include Uber, Pinterest, Peloton, AirBnb, and WeWork. The busy IPO market could cause problems for some of the companies expected to debut later this year.

As the name suggests, imposter syndrome is when you feel like you are an imposter and don’t deserve what you have in life. To combat imposter syndrome, recognize insecure thoughts, talk about them, reframe them by stating the opposite, intentionally reflect on your successes, and if all else fails, don’t be afraid to consider professional help.
