The FEI Chicago Chapter hosts its annual outing at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park on Sunday, August 21. This will be an opportunity to meet other FEI members and their families in a relaxed setting. This family event will include a lavish buffet dinner and a concert featuring The Chicago Symphony Orchestra playing an all Tchaikovsky program. Conducted by Itzhak Perlman, the program will include the stirring Symphony No. 5, Variations on a Rococo Theme with famed cellist Lynn Harrell, and the popular "1812" Festival Overture with live cannon fire. This promises to be a memorable evening!

The concert begins at 5:00pm. The package price includes reserved seating in the Pavilion. Or, if you prefer, bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks to enjoy on the lawn during the concert. We will have our dinner at the Mirabelle restaurant on the grounds of the Ravinia Festival immediately following the concert, starting at 7:00pm.

The cost of the dinner with pavilion seating for Chicago Chapter members is $35pp. Family members can attend at a cost of $45pp. You may bring non-family members (colleagues, friends) on a space-available basis at a cost of $60pp. If you wish to sit on the lawn during the concert, a reduction of $10 per ticket will be granted. We must receive your paid reservation by August 12. Tickets will be mailed along with information about parking and other transportation.
