In February 2021, FEI, on the recommendation of the leadership of the Committee on Private Companies (CPC), joined more than 80 Industry and trade associations on an advocacy letter to the leadership of the House and Senate tax-writing Committees expressing support for legislation to make the Section 199A deduction for pass through business income permanent. The letter was organized by the S-Corp Association.
