Event Registration Info

FEI-AZ has updated its dinner event registration procedures to take greater advantage of the investment FEI National has made in our website's capabilities. Starting with our April 2018 dinner event, registration will be done through the Events page on the chapter's website. This means that chapter members will be required to login to their FEI account as a part of the registration process. This process will be used for future dinner events (and eventually all chapter events).  As usual, members and sponsors will receive a separate email invitation to the event, with a link that will take them to the events page to register.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Before starting the registration process, be sure to determine what guests, if any, you will be registering for the event and have their regular registration information ready to use during the process. Note that a) you need to register any and all guests for the event all at the same time that you register, and b) you can't register more guests through the website after you have completed your registration. If applicable, consider reviewing the section below “Process for Registering Guests" before starting the registration process.

To start the process, Members and Sponsors should go to the Events website and select the event they would like to register for.  Then, follow these instructions:

FEI-AZ Member Registration Process

  1. Sign in to FEI using your FEI account username and password.
    • If you have forgotten your FEI account username or password, please use the "Forgot Password" link available on the sign-in screen.
  2. The approriate FEI-AZ Member registration rate will be listed and selected for registration.
    • For regular members and those who purchase the chapter all-inclusive dues option, the fee should be $0.
    • In-Transition, Retired and Life-Retired members who do not purchase the all-inclusive option, the required fee will be displayed.
  3. Click the "Register Now" button to proceed.
  4. Select which sessions you will attend.  (See additional general information below.)
    • Please select only one option from any concurrent session groups.
  5. Before completing your registration, register any FEI-eligible guests you would like to bring, following the instructions below under “Process for Registering Guests.”  After any FEI-eligible guests have been added, or if you are not adding guests, proceed to the next step.
  6. Complete your registration.  You’ll receive a confirmation email from the system.

If you are an In Transition, Life, Retired, or Visiting FEI member who has paid for the chapter "All Inclusive" package, and do not see the $0 registration fee, please contact Robin at [email protected] for assistance.

FEI-AZ Sponsor Registration Process

All attendees of FEI-AZ dinner events (and soon for all chapter events), including sponsors, members, and guests will need to have a (very simple) account on FEI's website in order to be appropriately registered for the event. It's easy for anyone who doesn't already have an account to quickly create one as a part of the registration process, as described below. (When sponsors register their guests, they are also creating an FEI account for the guest at the same time. This is very easy and doesn't require any more information be provided for sponsor guests than what has been provided in our past registration process.) Sponsors should follow the processes below for registering themselves and their guests, respectively, for all future dinner meetings.

Sponsor Representatives Who Already Have an FEI Account
All primary & secondary sponsor representatives of the chapter should already have an account on FEI's website. These sponsor reps should follow these steps to register:

From the chapter events page, click on the "Sign in to Register Here" button.
  1. Sign in using your FEI Account
    • If you do not know your username or password, use the "Forgot Password" functionality on the sign-in dialog box along with your regular sponsor email, and the system will provide you with your password or the opportunity to set a new one.
  2. Once you are logged in, you'll be returned to the event webpage, and you should see a $0 fee associated with your account.  In this case, proceed with the registration process by clicking on the green "Register Now" button.  If you don't see a fee or see the message, "We're sorry, you do not meet the registration criteria for this event" along with a green button that says "Use Code" then click the Use Code button, and insert the sponsor code, and click the green button to continue the registration process.
  3. Select which sessions you will attend.  (See additional general information below.)
  4. Before completing your registration, register any FEI-eligible guests you would like to bring, following the instructions below under “Process for Registering Guests.”  (Also, review the red note to individual sponsor reps below .)  After any FEI-eligible guests have been added, or if you are not adding guests, proceed to the next step.
  5. Complete your registration.  You’ll receive a confirmation email from the system.

Sponsor Representatives Who Do Not Have an FEI Account
1. From the chapter events page linked below, click on the "Sign in to Register Here" button.

2. Click on "Create a New Account."

3. Fill out the information needed to create an account on the site. Be sure to include your company and email. You will only have to go through this account creation process one time, so be sure to remember which email you used and any password that you set.

4. At the end of this process, you'll be returned to the event webpage, and you should see a message that says, "We're sorry, you do not meet the registration criteria for this event" along with a green button that says "Use Code."

5. Insert the sponsor code that FEI-AZ provided to you by email prior to the event and click on the green button to continue the registration process.

6. Select which sessions you will attend.  (See additional general information below.)

7. Before completing your registration, register any FEI-eligible guests you would like to bring, following the instructions below under “Process for Registering Guests.”  After any FEI-eligible guests have been added, or if you are not adding guests, proceed to the next step.

8. Complete your registration.  You’ll receive a confirmation email from the system.

SPECIAL NOTE TO INDIVIDUAL SPONSOR REPS: PLEASE DO NOT USE YOUR SPONSOR CODE A SECOND TIME TO REGISTER GUESTS SEPARATELY FROM YOUR OWN REGISTRATION!
Sponsor representatives should not register more guests through the website after they have completed their own individual registration process. In other words, please don't insert the code a second time and register a guest after you have completed your registration. (If you do, the chapter will have no way to associate that guest's registration with your company.) To register any guest(s) after you have completed your registration process, please email the relevant information to Robin Hirth at [email protected], and she will register your guest for you.  (Another approach would be to check with other sponsor reps at your company to see if they have registered yet, and if they have not yet registered but intend to do so, have them register your guest at the same time that they register.  This will make sure your guest is noted in our system as being a guest of your company.)

Process for Registering Guests

  1. If you want to register an FEI-eligible individual to attend the dinner meeting as your guest, you can do so by clicking the "Add Guest" button that will appear during the registration process.
    • Please be sure to register all of your guests at the same time that you register, if possible. It's not possible for you to add more guests through the website after you have completed your registration process. In other words, you can't "log back in later" to add another guest. To register any guest(s) after you have completed your registration process, please email the relevant information to Robin Hirth at [email protected].
  2. Include at a minimum your guest's name, title, company, and email address.
    • The email is especially important because: 1) it is the means by which FEI's platform conveys CPE credit to the individual, and 2) it enables a record for your guest to be created in FEI's database, without which your guest will not be able to login to the FEI website in the future.

Other instructions and general information for dinner meeting registrations:

  • Once you have started the registration process, please only select sessions during the registration process that you actually plan to attend. For example, if you do not plan to attend the Dinner and Keynote Speaker, please do not select the dinner as one of your sessions during the registration process. In this way, we will be able to gain an accurate headcount for each part of the chapter meeting (i.e. CPE sessions, reception, and dinner) and prepare accordingly.
  • Attendees requesting vegetarian meals should select the "Vegetarian - Dinner and Keynote Speaker" session as a part of the registration process. If you have other dietary restrictions or concerns, please inform Robin Hirth at [email protected].
  • For regular monthly chapter dinner meetings, all registrations must be completed by the Friday preceding the dinner event.  For other events, the registration deadline will be as reflected on the event webpage and email invitation.

If you have any questions, or if you experience issues in the registration process that you are not able to resolve, please don't hesitate to contact Robin Hirth at the FEI-AZ office, [email protected] / 480-496-4010 for assistance.
