Why did your organization decide to sponsor FEI Baltimore? Our firm is committed to the long-term success of Baltimore, and we view FEI as a great organization to help achieve that by connecting local business leaders.
What are you looking forward to most about being involved in FEI Baltimore in the upcoming year?
The great events, both networking and educational, which are different than programs that other organizations offer. Some colleagues and I have already been on the tour of the Port of Baltimore and a roundtable discussion on the Corporate Transparency Act, where it was helpful to compare notes with other leaders about how they are tackling that challenging regulation.
How does your company provide value to finance executives in the Baltimore area?
We are a full-service, national firm, so we offer legal services in corporate, real estate, tax, labor and employment, and other areas. Engaging with executives through organizations such as FEI help us to better understand their businesses and the issues they face, which helps us provide better counsel.
What is your best networking tip?
If you can, get a list of attendees in advance of an event so you can make a plan of people you want to speak with.
What are some of your personal hobbies outside of work?
I have two boys and I coach a number of their sports teams. I also enjoy playing sports, particularly baseball and tennis.
