Why did your organization decide to sponsor FEI Baltimore?
We decided to sponsor FEI Baltimore to support their mission of connecting financial executives with one another and to introduce our clients to the organization so they can benefit from meeting their peers in financial leadership roles.
What are you looking forward to most about being involved in FEI Baltimore in the upcoming year?
I’m really excited about the renewed energy in FEI and am looking forward to touring Maryland based businesses and hearing from their financial leaders about their respective businesses and how they plan to grow in Maryland.
How does your company provide value to finance executives in the Baltimore area?
As part of leadership teams, CFO’s and VP’s of Finance typically are involved at some level with their firm’s technology systems and resources. As independent strategic IT advisors, we work with these leaders helping them ensure that their technology strategies align directly with the overall business goals.
What is your best networking tip?
I think it’s important to spend time getting to know people in the business community - you never who others are connected to. A good best practice is to establish a regular cadence for checking in to be continually developing the relationship. When attending networking events, I think it’s important to know who else will be attending and having a strategy for who you wish to meet at any given event.
What are some of your personal hobbies outside of work?
I enjoy playing golf, skiing, volunteering, spending time with my family and cheering on the Ravens.
