Job gains surpassed expectations by nearly twofold in the September jobs report, as employers added 336,000 jobs in September – the largest gain since January. The labor market has shown continuous resilience, yet it remains imbalanced, with the ratio of job openings to unemployed workers remaining at 1.5.
In turn, more employers are embracing a new way of working, as RGP CEO Kate Duchene wrote in a Harvard Business Review article with co-author Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez.
