Carl will share techniques that have helped him communicate effectively to C-Suite executives, company Boards, investors (including activists), lenders and fellow employees in Town Meetings. You’ll learn how to move from telling a story to formulating an argument, how to provide key takeaways to your audience, and a design framework for making a convincing presentation.

Carl is the former CFO of Univar Solutions here in Chicago. He led the company’s successful IPO and subsequent $2 billion acquisition of its largest North American competitor. He was named FEI Chicago’s 2019 Public Company CFO of the Year. Prior to Univar, Carl held finance and commercial leadership positions at the DuPont Company. This included president of DuPont Asia Pacific in Tokyo, Japan where he lived and worked for over ten years. He currently is an advisor to private equity investors and corporations.
