The meeting started with a tour of Cash Processing (dollar denominated currency) at the Cincinnati Branch of the Cleveland Federal Reserve for the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton and Columbus areas.
The tour was followed by breakfast and a presentation by Julianne Dunn, Senior Regional Officer of the Cincinnati Branch. Julianne provided an overview of the Federal Reserve structure, including the role the Cincinnati Branch plays.. She also discussed the details behind the key national metrics used to monitor growth and inflation and the 'messiness of the regional data".
Her presentation was followed by a lively 10 - 15 minute Q&A session.
