Dear FEI Members and Strategic Partners,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2021-2022 program year of the Detroit Chapter of Financial Executives International. The success our chapter has achieved over the past year has been inspiring. Despite the challenges of the pandemic and all that has been done to alter the landscape of our economy and the way we conduct business, FEI Detroit has remained relevant, informative, and connected.

Health and safety in our community continues to be a top priority. While protocols may change as we return to in-person events, we ask that you remain committed to your well-being.

FEI Detroit will remain a light throughout the storm, providing you with the knowledge, tools, and a vetted network of resources to strengthen your professional development and capabilities.

Foundational to the success of a membership organization is our Officers and Board of Directors. They are finalizing plans for a dynamic season, building on the momentum from last year. The knowledge they bring to their roles will be invaluable as we work together to shape the future of our chapter. Please join me in thanking them for their commitment and dedication.

An essential part of our success is our Strategic Partners. With their generous support, we are able to continue our commitment to our members to provide meaningful programming throughout the year. When you require business services, please look to this list, and give our partners the opportunity to meet with you.

As we begin this new year, I recommend each of you to: become personally more active by attending the outstanding activities offered and earn CPE credits, support our Board committees, and recruit potential members; bring as guests those who will add value and diversity to our collective. It is because of you and for you that FEI exists.

Please know that our venue costs have increased. In order to tightly manage our membership dues, the need for timely registrations and cancellations is more important than ever. If you have registered for an event and are unable to attend, we ask that you keep us informed, so we can anticipate our attendance accordingly.

Today, more than ever, the key to our success is our presence on social media. Join our LinkedIn group by clicking here. Join our Facebook page by clicking here, or follow us on Instagram for all the latest news. Share our meetings and announcements with your network so that we can notify others about the exciting year ahead.

Our chapter is always looking to improve! Your suggestions and feedback are very valuable. Please let us know how we can serve you better.

I am very honored and grateful for your trust and support. Serving this great chapter, as a Board member or Officer is something I have done for more than 11 years. I look forward to working with you and celebrating our chapter’s bright future together.

Thank you again for your participation and support of FEI.

Sincerely,
Nancie Stoddard
