"Data Governance:  What Finance Executives Should Know"

This video on the "Digital Revolution" will be the basis of the presentation.

Businesses are increasingly recognizing that their success is progressively tied to the quality and integrity of their information.  For most, the reliance on that data is the cornerstone for how organizations make significant decisions that can affect their customers, operational efficiency, compliance, risk management, and operating costs. Additionally, financial executives tend to be significant consumers of data and ideally, are integrally involved in its governance, integrity and protection. As companies continue to collect vast amounts of information about their customers, financial activities, products, and vendors, it becomes more difficult to accurately maintain the integrity, availability and confidentiality of that information within a practical, organized framework.

As the need for effective data governance increases, what is the role of an organization’s financial executive? What questions should be asked and to whom? And where can you inject your valuable insights to support core business initiatives that rely on the governance of data?

CrossCountry Consulting will facilitate a discussion on identifying the opportunities within data governance to provide insights and value across the enterprise that improve operations, manage risks, and finance their capital investments with the greatest return.  For a preview of their presentation, click here.
