General Manager of Finance, Systems and Operations, Microsoft Corp.

"Current and Future State of Technology and Impact on Both Consumers and Business"

Please plan to join us on November 17th as Taylor Hawes takes us on a brief journey of how technology has impacted our lives, in how we work and in how we think.  The scale of this impact is global and of a magnitude that we may not fully understand for years to come.  While the potential of the future is remarkable, we also need to consider the many social and societal impacts of technology.  What you have experienced in your lifetime is only the beginning!

Taylor Hawes is responsible for Microsoft's standardized global finance operations, global procurement and call center support, programs and compliance, as well as Finance's operations and business intelligence systems.  Taylor has a reputation for delivering results and innovative solutions.  Often he is asked to lead complex and challenging assignment with expectations of flawless delivery.

Taylor has been active and influential in driving technology in finance through leadership and participation in XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) advocacy with the Security Exchange Commission; Chaired Financial Executives International's (FEI) Committee for Finance & Information Technology; served as advisor for the International Accounting Standards Board; and is Immediate Past Chair of Financial Executives International.  For Mr. Hawes' complete bio, click here
