We are approaching the time of the year that brings season’s greetings and year-end charitable donations. The deduction for charitable donations is one of the few remaining federal itemized tax deductions, at least until 2026.  However, specific substantiation requirements must be followed to avoid an automatic disallowance of this deduction on audit. This session, led by Bill Hranchak, CPA and tax partner with Temo Arjani LLP, will focus on what kind of substantiation is required and when you have to have it to defend the deduction.
