The Transformational Power of Empathy in Leadership

Join FEI Nashville on January 24th to welcome back Sherry Stewart Deutschmann, a nationally-recognized entrepreneur, business leader, and advocate for women.  In 2019, Sherry founded BrainTrust, a company dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs grow their business up to - and beyond - the $1Million milestone.

BrainTrust uses a $1M benchmark in part because companies generating revenue at that level are able to both compensate the founder and retain highly-talented employees sustainably.  Sherry attributes her initial success at her first company, Letter Logic Inc, to its unique culture, in which the needs of the employees came before those of the customers or shareholders.  Letter Logic was named an Inc. 5000 company (fastest growing privately held companies in the US) for ten consecutive years.  

Today, BrainTrust is a collective of women entrepreneurs who work together, prioritizing confidentiality and trust, to develop solutions for challenges common to all entrepreneurs, and especially those specific to female leaders.  Founded and active in Nashville, this year BrainTrust is expanding to Atlanta.
