FEI Nashville 2023 Academic Night will feature the recognition of eight top accounting and finance students in Middle Tennessee.  We are also excited to welcome an expert panel of representatives: David Blankenship, Associate Relationship Manager | Fifth Third Bank, John Wagster, Attorney | Frost Brown Todd, and Jenny Zide, Director | Bank of America, moderated by Jeremy Goss, Partner | Forvis; as they discuss the current and future state of banking in the digital age.

Topics to be discussed may include:
  • The role of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency in the financial marketplace.
  • Issues that CFOs may consider regarding digital assets, liabilities, and transactions, and the many other factors such as risk and financial planning within the digital environment.
  • Regulatory impact and reaction to digital transactions and financial instruments.
  • The role of Central Banks with digital currency.
  • Bank failures of late.
  • Do I need a bank with the future of digital currency in the mix?
