Team Building and Conflict Management

Join FEI New Jersey on January 29th to discuss building strong teams and managing conflict. During this discussion, we’ll explore several topics, including:

  • How to build strong aligned teams: 
    • What gets in the way of building a strong aligned? 
    • How to overcome challenges? 
    • How to raise the level of candor and develop clear expectations on roles and goals, etc.?
    • The role trust plays in building strong teams
    • What common barriers that get in the way?
    • How to manage team conflict effectively?
    • The leadership role of the team leader
  • How to resolve conflicts with other senior leaders/stakeholders: 
    • What are some typical conflicts that need to be addressed and what works or does not work in doing so?
    • What skills are necessary for effective conflict management? 
    • How can there be constructive conflict that challenges others which is not seen as destructive?
    • What assumptions and stories do we and they need to overcome?
    • What is best style and approach for handling conflicts?

For FEI CPE credits, one credit hour equals 50 minutes according to NASBA guidelines. Some states boards may differ on how many minutes constitute a credit hour.
