ABOUT FEI NyC

Since 1933, the FEI NYC Chapter has been successfully connecting Financial Professional in the New York City metro area providing a truly unique forum to meet at live events (most of which carry CPE), attend general peer-to-peer networking events or webinars, gain access to the rest of the 10,000 FEI members, benefit from advocacy efforts, research, and career center.

FEI NYC strives to provide its Membership with unique opportunities to facilitate or cultivate the development and furthering of the Finance profession at many levels.

From robust programming and professional networking activities to our mentoring relationship with the students attending local colleges, nearly every FEI NYC activity will provide an opportunity for you, the Financial Professional, to either get what you need or share what you know.

President news: MEMBERSHIP MATTERS

Matt Cooley Greetings Colleagues:

Waiting for a flight in a busy Atlanta terminal recently it was pretty clear the hordes of passengers had little in common. Other than sharing rides to our destinations there was nothing to really bind us. FEI New York City, on the other hand, is your jet way to learning, your terminal for networking, and a first class lounge for fellowship with your financial executive peers. But it requires membership and a commitment to take that journey together. The leadership team is focusing its efforts this fiscal year on enhancing and growing your membership experience.

What you can expect in the coming months:

Hi-Profile Speakers. Erin Callan, former CFO of Lehman, is scheduled in October and Aaron Beam, former CFO of HealthSouth, in March. We're just getting started.
Simpler Communications. Watch for revamped program invites and website messaging…we might even be able to increase the font size! And look for a welcome video to be added on our homepage this Summer.
Lower Program Registration Fees. Members will pay less. Guests will pay more. The quicker guests become members the better.
New Guest Policy. We are adopting a policy in line with several other chapters around the country where guests will need to be membership-eligible. Guests warmly encouraged at all chapter programs.
Fun Continues. There’s a reason we like including a chocolate tasting with a career session, or roulette and blackjack after a panel presentation. Learning and fun go together and build stronger bonds between us.

Look for FEI New York City to deliver the whole package and be the premier organization in the city for senior financial executives. Have a great Summer and register now for the rooftop mixer September 14. Expect a blowout. Membership Matters!
