"Economic Update"

Mr. Mekael Teshome from the Cleveland Fed will give an overview of the US economic outlook, labor market conditions, and inflation trends. He will also discuss the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy.  Mekael Teshome is vice president and senior regional officer of the Pittsburgh Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. In this role, he is responsible for briefing the Cleveland Reserve Bank’s president on the region’s economic environment, managing the branch, engaging in external outreach, and managing the Cleveland Reserve Bank’s relationships with stakeholders in the Pittsburgh region.

  • Describe labor market conditions and inflation trends
