The number of female board directors is rising every year, but women still find it challenging to effectively promote themselves for board service. Women aspiring to corporate boards are invited to this workshop, led by international board development leader Coco Brown, to develop strategies to maximize board bios and better position themselves for corporate board consideration. Join us as we gather at the BDO Pittsburgh office for an afternoon of learning, collaboration and networking on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M.

FEI Pittsburgh and its presenting partners are pleased to welcome Coco Brown.  Ms. Brown is the Founder and CEO of Athena Alliance, an approved Nasdaq partner helping listed companies in their search for highly qualified, diverse, board-ready candidates.

She will share The Playbook to help you find your board fit and help you identify and test out your personal value propositions with your peers.

The two-part workshop is open to women seeking to increase their board readiness:

• Part 1  Safety,  Match and Reach: Unlock your fit within a landscape of over 30,000 companies looking for  independent board directors.
• Part 2  Your Branded Career Portfolio: We will discuss modern trends in board resumes, bios and LinkedIn profiles that assist in effectively promoting yourself to gain traction and yield results.
