“When Women Thrive, Businesses Thrive”
North American practice Partner Pam Jeffords will lead an interactive discussion based on Mercer’s 2014 researchstudy on gender diversityin the workplace, When Women Thrive, Businesses Thrive. This study of over 160 global organizations found that current female hiring, promotion, and retention rates are insufficient to create gender equality over the next decade. The study shows that the current talent flows will move more women into top roles globally over the next decade — but not in North America.
Mercer’s quantitative research provides unique and actionable insights. Key points of the discussion will include:
· Mercer’s five key drivers of gender diversity
· What programs and initiatives are not advancing gender diversity and which ones have an adverse impact.
· Six fundamental building blocks to a successful gender strategy.
