Retirement Plans and Planning: Why Good Governance is Critical | Led by Erik Olson, CFA, BNY Mellon

We regret to announce that this event has been postponed.   Please check back shortly as we are working to re-schedule.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Join us for a timely refresher directed at retirement plan sponsors and/or retirement plan participants.  We will have a broad discussion on the retirement plan industry.  Topics include: how investments have fared during the COVID-19 pandemic, the CARES Act relief measures for retirement plan sponsors and participants, how governance practices - good or bad - become magnified during a crisis, and how to potentially save money managing your plan.

Many members of FEI serve as plan sponsors and/or administrators, and probably every single one of us participates in some kind of retirement plan.  Plan sponsors will gain a better understanding of their responsibilities as they relate to effectively overseeing an employer-sponsored retirement plan and the role of sound governance practices.   Attendees will learn how to leverage plan assets and manage vendors to save time and expenses, and participants will learn about the negative impact of fees and market timing on long-term performance.

Connectivity details will be distributed to event registrants no later than close of business on Monday, June 22nd.  To qualify for CPE, registrants must attend 50 minutes of the program and answer periodic polling questions.  CPE for this session is currently under review.

Please ensure that your screen name within Webex is recognizable.  Attendees whose screen name does not match (or at least resemble) the guest list risk being removed.

Registration is limited to members of FEI as well as our local FEI Pittsburgh prospects, invited guests and non-competing sponsors.
