The Do’s and Don’ts of an Effective Workplace Investigation

This session is designed to introduce the participants to the theory and practical skills necessary to conduct impartial investigations upon receipt of employee complaints. Among other things, this training will focus on the fundamental elements of an effective workplace investigation, including such topics as:
  • the duty to investigate;
  • selecting the right investigator;
  • the importance of a clear investigative scope;
  • conducting effective witness interviews; and
  • the components of a meaningful investigation report.
