We are doing our April chapter meeting a little differently this year! Join us on Thursday, April 28th at Safeco Field, as we partner with Workday to host an exciting event that will help us kick off spring in the right way.

The night will begin with a Professional Development program with Robert Half:

Professional Development: 10 Secrets Your Employees Aren’t Telling You ... And How You Can Improve Morale and Retention

Managers, did you know your employees may have concerns they’re not sharing with you? Even at small, tight-knit firms, secrets could exist. Some workers may be dissatisfied and looking to leave the firm, for instance. Others may privately wish they could advance into more significant roles. This presentation will help you uncover secrets your employers may be harboring and learn how to better gauge the pulse of the office environment. Knowing which issues are of greatest concern to your team will allow you to address them, leading to improved morale, motivation and retention rates.

Tyler Dion is the Director of Permanent Placement for Robert Half’s Finance and Accounting Division.  His team of recruiters in Seattle and Bellevue represent the passive candidates in the market, giving him a unique view on what it takes to keep (or lose) a valued employee.  Prior to joining the company, Tyler held regional and national leadership roles with Cintas Corporation and Manpower.  Tyler is a lifelong Washingtonian, an avid golfer and soccer player, and a relentless supporter of Washington State University.

After the PD, Safeco will be showing us their incredible catering with grill asparagus bruchetta, bacon wrapped jalapenos, pacific dungeness crab melts and Chris Porter's famous Pie Babies for dessert. Finally, the end of the night will include a "behind the scenes tour" of Safeco Field. During the tour, we will spend time seeing one of the most premier baseball facilities ever built, including areas of the ballpark that are not normally open to the public, such as the Press Box, Private Suites, Field, Dugouts and Visitors Clubhouse. (All areas are subject to availability depending on activities within the ballpark.)

With so much excitement in store, this monthly meeting will not have a featured speaker. Rather, we will spend the night socializing and enjoying the view from the ballpark.

A very special thanks to Workday for helping FEI make this event possible!
