A Message From Our President - April 2021

FEI Tampa Bay Members, Sponsors and Friends,

It’s been an exciting month for our chapter. In March, we hosted our first in-person event in over a year at The Dog Bar St. Pete. We had a great turnout of members, sponsors, and guests (both human and dog) and even had some new faces join the group.

Attendees were overwhelming positive about the venue, setup and precautions that were taken to ensure everyone felt comfortable. We used a sticker system to indicate who felt comfortable with close contact, who preferred to remain six feet apart, and who would prefer that you wore a mask and maintained physical distance when interacting.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and to our programs committee for making this event happen. It was a great way to kick-off our 2021 in-person networking events.

In April, we will hear from Foundry Commercial, who will present a commercial real estate update at MetWest One in Tampa. The speakers will be updating the chapter on the current state of the commercial real estate market, and provide an update on market dynamics since their presentation last summer.

We’ll also continue to offer virtual events and will hear from Corinne Kneis, LGPC, EdM, MA on positive psychology and wellness in the workplace. After a challenging year, both personally and professionally, this program is sure to offer a new perspective and boost job satisfaction and overall happiness.

Thank you again for your continued support as our board has navigated the pandemic. We plan to continue in-person events for the remainder of the year, and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely,
Joanne Dempster
Chapter President
