FEI Tampa Bay members, sponsors, and friends:
As we enter the holiday season, I find myself reflecting on three simple words:
thankful, grateful, and blessed.
I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as President of FEI Tampa, grateful for the friendships and professional relationships we have built and blessed to be part of a community of financial leaders who are so willing to share their knowledge, experience, time, and talents.
This season is also a wonderful reminder of our giving spirit. Giving is not always about financial support. It can be giving our time, mentoring someone, sharing our experience, helping a colleague, supporting a neighbor, or simply being there when someone needs us. Those acts of generosity, large and small, strengthen the communities around us.
As financial leaders, our days are often filled with deadlines, decisions, and responsibilities. The holidays give us an opportunity to pause, reflect on the year behind us, appreciate the people who have been part of our journey, and remember those who may need a little extra kindness and support.
As we look toward the New Year, I am excited about the opportunities ahead for FEI Tampa and the ways we can continue to connect, learn from one another, and give back to our community.
Most importantly, I want to say
thank you. Thank you for your involvement, your friendship, your generosity, and the spirit you bring to our FEI Tampa community.
May this holiday season remind us how fortunate we are, how much we have to be grateful for, and how much we can give to others.
Wishing you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving, a joyful holiday season, and a happy, healthy, and blessed New Year.
Sincerely,
Shirley Risen
