A Message From Our President - October 2019

Greetings FEI members, sponsors and friends.

I hope that you’ve all had a productive few months during our hiatus and made time for yourself and your families during the summer break. I’m thrilled to be back with FEI, this year serving as Chapter President. I have some big shoes to fill, but I’m excited at the opportunity to lead the organization this year.

I want to first thank Steve Johnson for his years of service as Chapter President. Steve worked tireless at the helm of our organization for two years, after just a year on our board as our Sponsorship Chair. He’s a huge asset to our leadership team, and we’re pleased that he’s sticking around as the sponsorship chair once again.

Steve has been hard at work already, and we have a few new sponsors this year. Please join me in welcoming Siracusa Staffing & Leasing, Valuation Research Corporation, and PwC as FEI Tampa Bay Sponsors for the 2019-2020 Program Year. We also have a few long-term sponsors that I’d like to mention as well – Aon, CBIZ, Cherry Bekaert, Ferreri Search, Fifth Third Bank, Foundry Commercial, Gunster, JPMorgan Chase, KForce, Mercer, PNC Bank, RR Donnelley, SunTrust Bank, TD Bank, Vaco and Willis Towers Watson. Thank you for your support of our chapter throughout the years. It’s because of you that we can offer a line-up of exciting events for our members and guests.

We kicked our program year off with a stellar event at Amalie Arena. Our speaker Casey Rodgers – also known as the guy who shut down the circus – was incredibly engaging and the tour of Amalie Arena was a treat. This event is just the start for our program year. We’ve got some great meetings planned in the coming months. Our tentative schedule of events features local companies like Marine Max, Tampa International Airport, Strategic Property Partners and a Yankees Spring Training event. Stay tuned for more details on those.

In the meantime, welcome back! I look forward to a productive and educational year with FEI Tampa Bay.
