Why does your company sponsor FEI Tampa Bay Chapter?
Foundry Commercial began our 19+ year relationship with FEI Tampa Bay through a friend of ours and our involvement with Junior Achievement (JA). At the time, FEI and JA were doing a lot of charity work together and we saw the chapter members and sponsors as top-tier individuals and companies. It made a lot of sense to do more and more with FEI as the relationship progressed. We have seen a direct benefit from our FEI sponsorship by way of business and personal growth.
What board committee do you serve on? And what role does that committee play in enhancing the chapter?
I am currently sitting on the Board and serving as the Sponsorship Chair. The sponsorship committee is tasked with renewing, recruiting, and onboarding new sponsors. Sponsor relationships are integral to our chapter and provide most of the financial backing that allow us to visit incredible venues and host programs that we all benefit from attending. This committee also ensures the quality and quantity of the sponsors to make sure that the FEI members are pleased with the sponsorship roster.
What is the most rewarding part of being involved in FEI Tampa Bay?
Foundry Commercial is proud to be a long-time sponsor of FEI Tampa Bay. The professional and personal relationships that we have made over the years have been very rewarding. Jimmy Johnson, Katie Trott, Jas Reber and I have always enjoyed our involvement with Clays for a Cure at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays. We also enjoy supporting Moffit Cancer Center and Junior Achievement through all the events that align with the FEI Tampa Bay Chapter.
How does your company provide value to finance executives in the Tampa Bay area?
Foundry Commercial provides strategic real estate advice to our clients and assists them with their real estate needs. Our Team (Jimmy, Katie, Jas and I) have worked with many FEI members and their teams to provide best-in-class real estate advice, financial modeling and services when it comes addressing their need for space. Do you have any personal stories to share about the connections you’ve made through FEI Tampa Bay?
Our team has had so many stories that it’s hard to share just a few, and we’d likely get in trouble by leaving a few out. Overall, our team has made a lot of professional and personal relationships in our time with FEI Tampa Bay, and we are excited to continue that for many years to come.
