What are you looking forward to most about serving on the FEI Tampa Bay board?
After being a long-term member of FEI Tampa Bay, I found that introducing new people to the chapter and interacting with members, the Board and the community was fulfilling. I’m looking forward to helping the board grow our membership and shape the future of the organization.
What benefits have you seen from being a part of FEI Tampa Bay?
The biggest benefit of membership for me has been building friendships with my peers and colleagues in the area. In addition, the networking opportunities and learning about the various types of operations or companies in our area at monthly chapter meetings.
What is one piece of information you wish someone had told you when you first started your finance career?
Finance can be very deadline driven; however, it can also be very rewarding when those deadlines are achieved.
What is your best networking tip?
Remember to take 10 minutes out of your day to keep in touch with someone who has reached out to you.
What are some of your personal hobbies outside of finance?
I love to be out on our boat – it is so relaxing. I also enjoy taking walks with our puppies, and of course, spending time with my grandbabies.
