Financial Executives Research Foundation Announces Election of 2016-2017 Board of Trustees

Morristown, N.J. – Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF), the non-profit research affiliate of FEI, announced today the election of a new slate of executive officers for the fiscal year, effective July 1.
Edward Weller, Chief Accounting Officer of Federal Home Loan Bank - Pittsburgh, will serve as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF). He has been a member of FEI since 2000 and has served in numerous roles within the FERF Board. Weller has also been an active local leader, serving in various positions within the Pittsburgh Chapter.
Additional elected officers for the 2016-2017 year include:
  • Sam Eldessouky, Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. will serve as the Vice Chair of Budget & Investment. Eldessouky, a member of FEI since 2007, has been active on the Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR), including the PCAOB and CCR Controllership Subcommittees since 2009.
  • Marie Gallagher, Senior Vice President and Controller of PepsiCo will serve as the Vice Chair of Audit. Gallagher has been active on the Committee on Corporate Reporting (CCR), including serving on the FASB and CCR Controllership Subcommittees since 2014. She has also served on the FERF Board of Trustees since 2014. She joined FEI in 1992.
  • Paul Hensley, Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of HOLT CAT will serve as Vice Chair of Development. Hensley, a member of FEI since 2004, has been active on both the national and regional level, including serving as the San Antonio Chapter President.
  • Nicholas Sucic, Vice President and Controller of Davey Tree Expert Company will serve as Vice Chair of Research. Sucic became a member of FEI in 1989. Since joining the association he has served in various national and local roles, including Chapter President of the Northeast Ohio Chapter.
