Matt is currently a Senior Consultant with the Protiviti New York Security and Forensics team. Matt’s primary role on the team is a senior incident response and forensic analyst, responsible for participating in and leading active breaches as well as performing forensics to determine extent and series of events that occurred. Since joining the team, Matt has also participated in multiple, non-incident response, projects including vendor risk assessments, a long term Tripwire engagement, Security gap assessments, vulnerability assessments, and mobile application penetration tests. During these projects Matt led and aided in the investigations and created report documents to be submitted to the clients. Matt previously worked at the Northeast Cyber Forensics Center (NCFC), based out of Utica College in Utica, New York. While working for the NCFC, Matt worked with several local, state and federal government agencies on Computer Forensic cases both in Criminal and in corporate environments. While working for the NCFC, Matt performed forensic analysis on multiple devices including computers, cell phones, and game consuls.
