Jason Jarnagin


Jason Jarnagin is a Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Engineering, and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering.  Jason was a CO-OP student with the Department of Defense and attained a Master of Science in Electronics Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 2000. 
Jason has been employed with the FBI since 2002 and has served in the Oklahoma City, Buffalo, and now Knoxville Field Offices, in addition to numerous headquarters technical assignments.  SSA Jarnagin was head of advanced digital forensics laboratories and structured FBI policy on processing and seizing of digital evidence, digital forensic analysis, and characterization of electronic devices implicated in FBI investigations. 
Jason now leads the Knoxville Cyber Task Force and is responsible for both criminal and national security investigations involving computer intrusions.
