Jonathan Kalodimos

Jonathan Kalodimos is an Associate Professor of Finance and Harley & Brigitte Smith Fellowship Recipient at Oregon State University. His research focuses on financial regulation and financial market information acquisition. His research has received multiple citations in the popular press, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Bloomberg, and the Harvard Business Review. Prior to joining the faculty at Oregon, Dr. Kalodimos was a financial economist at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he was the lead economist on Dodd-Frank Act Section 954, which deals with executive compensation clawbacks. Dr. Kalodimos completed a Ph.D. in finance at the University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business in 2014, one year after earning a Master of Science in business administration from the same school. He also holds an MS in finance from the University of Florida’s Hough Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in physics from Kansas State University.
