Managing Director Bob Lindeman offers more than 30 years of expertise. Prior to founding The Overture Group, he served for 25 years as a Partner/Managing Director Partner at RSM McGladrey, the nation’s fifth largest accounting and consulting firm serving primarily the middle market. During his career, Bob has cultivated his skills in serving the manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, non-profit, technology and professional services markets by performing a complete range of consulting services for his clients. His experience includes executive- and management-level searches, ownership and management succession plan development and transition planning, profit enhancement and financial planning, annual management and long-term incentive plans, sales force compensation, organizational design, and strategic planning.
Bob currently serves on two privately-held company boards as well as the board of directors for Catholic Charities. He is also a past member of the Executive Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a past member of the board of directors of McGladrey and Pullen, a national accounting firm. Bob is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, WorldAtWork (American Compensation Association), the Illinois CPA Society, AICPA, the Institute of Exit Planners, the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Private Directors Association (PDA), The ESOP Association, and Vistage, an international business networking association.
Graduating from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Ill., Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He has also completed numerous graduate-level courses in Organizational Behavior and Business Strategy at both the University of Chicago and Benedictine University, Lisle, Ill. Bob is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois and is a Certified Exit Planner.
