Michael Woods is a director and team lead on the Chicago Foreign Exchange Desk of Wells Fargo Securities. Michael works with commercial clients throughout the Bank’s Great Lakes Division to help them effectively manage their foreign currency risk. Michael has been with Wells Fargo’s FX Group for 10 years. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Michael spent 2 years at a Chicago-based community bank, where he managed the sales, marketing, and product management aspects of the Treasury Management business. And prior to that, Michael spent 16 years at ABN AMRO / LaSalle Bank where he held a variety of positions in the Global Transaction Services and FX areas focusing on developing and marketing related products and services. Michael has a BA in economics from Indiana University, Bloomington, and an MBA in finance from DePaul University, Chicago.
