Many companies have purchased lease accounting software to comply with the latest standards: ASC 842 and IFRS 16. However, many companies have later come to realize that their software requires them to perform many processes manually, such as the following ones.
  • Creating new lease accounting amortization schedules with separate schedules for tenant improvement allowances (TIA), direct costs, purchase accounting adjustments, and asset retirement obligations
  • Remeasuring lease accounting amortization schedules for events, such as terminations, partial terminations, renewals, and impairments
  • Producing auditable financial reports, such as the disclosure and roll forward reports
Without automation, the time required to do these processes manually can run into hours every month. In this webinar, we'll review those processes that companies have found need to be automated and look at how simple those processes can be when they are automated. See how you can cut down your time with automated lease accounting.
