FEI Austin Chapter - April 2022 Breakfast Meeting - "Banking Update: COVID-19 and Beyond"


FEI Austin is pleased to announce a special panel discussion event where Austin banking experts will discuss the changes in the banking industry since COVID-19, the impact of technology, and share their experiences and future outlooks. Join us on Tuesday, April 19, featuring panelists, McKenzie Doss, VP of Commercial Banking at The Bank of Austin, Jenny Haefner, VP of Business Development at Wells Fargo, and Mike McConnell, Austin Market President at Hancock Whitney Bank as they answer noteable questions by our guest moderator, Oliver "Ollie" Sandlin, Managing Director at Focus Strategies Investment Banking.

Registration will be open until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14th.
 

CPE CREDIT

One (1.0) CPE Credit for attending this event will be given in the Field of Study:  Business Management & Organization.

  • Share tactics banks and businesses used during the height of COVID-19 to ensure business stability
  • Deliberate how current disruptions, such as supply chain issues, may affect businesses and loans
 

COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

FEI Austin is committed to ensuring that our chapter can continue to have the safest events possible in the face of the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are continually monitoring the latest guidance provided by federal, state, and local health authorities. To that end, we will be implementing the following safety protocols as per the guidance of Austin Public Health at our upcoming events until further notice:
  • Attendees who are up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccines and boosters do not need to wear a mask during the event
  • All those who are UNvaccinated, only partially vaccinated, or in a high-risk category are encouraged to wear a mask at all times (except when eating or drinking) OR to not attend
  • Attendees will be asked to sign an FEI Austin COVID-19 waiver (either online during registration or in person at the event) before entering the event space
  • Attendees should try to maintain adequate social distancing, frequently wash or sanitize hands, and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or an elbow
  • Attendees are encouraged to stay home if they have recently come into contact with someone with COVID-19 or if they are feeling unwell, including experiencing the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness or breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
