Financial Executives Institute (FEI) Chattanooga opened the 2023-2024 season on September
12th with a panel discussion on various areas of business insurance that help business leaders stay well-informed and help ensure their business risk is adequately mitigated. Speakers from Marsh McLellan
Agency, RSS Insurance, and McGriff Insurance Services covered topics from fraud, employment liability,
cyber risk, and D&O coverage. “Hearing real-world stories of what can go wrong definitely puts things in perspective and helps business leaders keep these critical risk areas on the radar” said a local CFO at the event.
The chapter's October meeting brought together an expert panel of local bankers from RockPoint Bank, First Horizon, and JPMorgan Chase Bank. Having a range of perspectives spanning from the local community bank to mid-market, and at the large national level, gave the audience a well-rounded view of what is happening in today’s banking and credit environment for both consumers and business
leaders. The key takeaway for executives was to know your business well and ensure you’re fostering a strong partnership with your banker as you navigate in today's unpredictable business environment.
