Virtual CPE Day (2 of 4)

Join us virtually for back-to-back, CPE approved sessions, presented by FEI Indianapolis Sponsors.

11:00 am - 11:50 am
"Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who is the Best Internal Audit Function of Us All?" - Ensuring Value from your Internal Audit Activity
A lot of Internal audit functions talk about adding value, but when pressed little had changed. The focus remains on traditional approaches with few criteria for success. Key Stakeholders (Senior Management, Boards, Regulators) are demanding more from Internal Audit than ever before. Current requirements and recent studies suggest that improvements are needed to ensure Internal Audit remains relevant and provides value.

In this session, Sue Ulrey will highlight the top 10 findings from the 110 Institute of Internal Auditor’s Quality Assessment Reviews, a mandatory assessment of the conformance with the Standards for the Profession Practice of Internal Auditing) she has performed. Sue will share a number of best practices around: Integrated governance and risk activities, effective operations, and creating and delivering value for consideration.
