Entrepreneurs and Economic Dynamism
Entrepreneurship is a driver of regional economic growth as business ownership creates wealth, generates employment opportunities, promotes innovation, and advances quality of life. While entrepreneurs have contributed to Wisconsin’s economy in numerous manners over the past several decades, their impacts have been uneven across industries, time periods, geographies and ownership types. This presentation will consider several of these trends and what they mean to economic dynamism in Wisconsin and the Madison Region.
