TOPIC: The Making of Seven Acre Dairy Company: Preserving Buildings and Stories at Crumbling Dane County Dairy Factory

"After hearing one of the last stories of an aging Dane County dairy farmer, my wife and I decided to purchase and restore a crumbling former dairy factory in Paoli, Wisconsin. We've now spent much of the last 18 months wrapped up in the process of its rehabilitation and rebirth as a concept called the Seven Acre Dairy Company. My presentation will muse on what we learned from taking a decaying building, nominating it for a place on the National Register of Historic Places, and reimagining it for a new audience."
