FEI Pittsburgh Scholarship Night | Keynote Address by Don Green, President, Point Park Univ.

FEI Pittsburgh is pleased to return to the University of Pittsburgh to award the FEI 2022 Kuldeep Shastri Memorial Scholarships.   Our chapter works with our regional academic partners to identify and honor successful students positioned to transform the finance and accounting industries.  We're honored to host Point Park University President, Dr. Donald J. Green, as our keynote speaker.

The chapter has a long tradition of recognizing tomorrow's financial industry leaders.  We work with our regional university partners to identify top candidates, who are then selected by our Academic Committee.  The award is the FEI Pittsburgh Kuldeep Shastri Memorial Scholarship.  We remember our friend Kuldeep, an FEI leader and University of Pittsburgh faculty member.  Among his many, many professional accomplishments, Kuldeep was instrumental in the development of the business school's first financial analysis laboratory, which significantly elevated Katz's recruiting profile as well as providing valuable clinical experiences to its students.

The Chapter is very pleased to welcome Point Park University's new President, Dr. Don Green.  Dr. Green joined Point Park in 2021 after many years leading both public and private institutions.  Higher education, an industry based on the premise of shared academic exploration, has faced significant challenges during the pandemic.  We look forward to meeting Dr. Green and learning more about his vision for downtown Pittsburgh's academic jewel, Point Park University.

We're pleased to welcome members of IMA Pittsburgh, an organization whose mission and membership often align with those of FEI Pittsburgh.
