FEI Pittsburgh Scholarship Night * Keynote Address by David Finegold, President, Chatham University

FEI Pittsburgh is pleased to welcome our community to our annual Scholarship Night!  No pandemic can prevent us from introducing and celebrating deserving accounting and finance students from our local universities.  We're honored to host Chatham University President, Dr. David Finegold, as our keynote speaker.

The chapter has a long tradition of recognizing tomorrow's financial industry leaders.  We work with our regional university partners to identify top candidates, who are then selected by our Academic Committee.  The award is the FEI Pittsburgh Kuldeep Shastri Memorial Scholarship.  We remember our friend Kuldeep, an FEI leader and University of Pittsburgh faculty member.  Among his many, many professional accomplishments, Kuldeep was instrumental in the development of the business school's first financial analysis laboratory.

Dr. Finegold,  the 19th President of Chatham University, has over 30 years of experience in higher education as a researcher, author, professor, academic dean, senior vice president and chief academic officer. He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard in 1985, and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, from which he received his DPhil in Politics in 1992.

A renowned scholar and educational innovator, Dr. Finegold has dedicated his career to education reform, the design of high-performance organizations, and extensive comparative research on education and skill-creation systems from around the world.  He has championed Chatham's work at its Eden Hall Campus, the world's first university campus designed to be a showcase for sustainable solutions.  He's also led the University's efforts to efficiently use its substantial real estate holdings one of Pittsburgh's most valuable neighborhoods.  Join us to learn more about Dr. Finegold's vision for Chatham and education in our region.
