Winning Wars: US Navy Lifecycle Costs and Operational Art

The cost of fleet management is a critical aspect for any organization that relies on a fleet of vehicles or vessels to carry out its operations, particularly in the Navy. Expenses of the Navy can be examined in three main categories: Operations and Maintenance, Procurement, and Research and Development. Like any organization, the Navy must optimize resources and improve operational efficiency while mitigating costs and ensuring it can effectively meet its mission objectives. Hear from Brian Grubbs, Captain, US Navy (Ret.) as he describes the US Navy for Finance Professionals.
